As strong as her coffee, Kathleen is an energetic agent who is dedicated to her clients’ best interest. Her previous work experiences as a Branch Manager for a Bank, and years of working with the Department of the Navy make Kathleen a well-rounded real estate professional. “I worked my way up from starting as a teller to managing a branch,” Kathleen recalls. Her detail-oriented nature and willingness to go the extra mile are behind her successes in the financial world. Later, she would become a resource to the Department of Navy by assisting in an operations role. Her ability to juggle multiple tasks all while offering a helping hand is when she fine-tuned her interpersonal skills. Today, she applies all of her skills and her knowledge base to helping her clients in real estate and to navigate the fun, but sometimes stressful, of buying a home.
Kathleen’s passion for real estate started at an early age and has carried through today. “When I was 9, I used to make my mom stop the car if I saw an ‘Open House’ sign,” she jokes. From there, working with people and being helpful has been her mission regardless of her job title. The wave of joy that overcomes a client when they find their dream home is what Kathleen chases in her real estate career. That happiness her clients find is the only fuel Kathleen needs to have a long career in real estate, and better able to help her clients at multiple times throughout their lives. “I love staying connected and dedicated to my clients, and that means after closing or when they need to move again - I will be there!”
Witnessing first-hand the multiple layers of the military that she has been exposed to, Kathleen knows how delicate a military relocation can be. Her experience working for the Department of Navy for over 5 years, and being a military spouse has given Kathleen a unique perspective. “I’ve been there, I know that feeling of not knowing where you’re going to live,” she shares. Just as she provided answers to United States Navy service members, she will provide answers to her military clients as well. “I want to share my experiences, and share my advice with military families! There is so much going on with moving, that sometimes little details are forgotten, and I’m here to help with those little details,” Kathleen says.
You won’t catch Kathleen indoors for too long, as she is a lover of hiking, gardening, and anything that allows her to smell the fresh air. Growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, she, of course, has a long-lasting love of the University of Tennessee Football. “I love going back to Knoxville to watch my Vols play!” She also enjoys scrapbooking during the colder months. Kathleen currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and 2 cats, with the potential of a puppy joining the ranks!
