Marc Johnson is a trustworthy real estate agent with close ties to the military community. A PCS move brought this Army spouse to the Hampton Roads area from El Paso, Texas, so he knows all about the challenges service members and their families face. He studied accounting and business management at Northern Virginia Community College outside of Washington D.C. Marc then held different positions for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service. He was a corporate trainer for three years. Here he also served as an equal employment opportunity counselor and trained hundreds of employees. "I listened to their complaints, fears and concerns to get a good feel to determine what it would take to renew their focus, energy and drive," Marc explains.
Later, he became a restaurant manager for the AAFES food court at Fort Bliss for more than six years. Marc directly oversaw all of the daily operations involved with maintaining this profitable business including employee relations and customer service. "I am usually very organized and prepared. I believe in efficiency and working smarter, not harder." He shares this same philosophy with his clients today. Real estate doesn't wait for anyone; Marc takes advantage of every moment to save his clients both time and money.
This lifelong learner enjoys the variety of real estate and being able to meet new people on a regular basis. "I like learning a lot about homes and people." Whether clients are looking for a new home, existing house or an investment property, this full-time agent dedicates himself to making it happen. "I really like to help people, and to see a client experience the joy of home ownership when I hand them that key is special." His natural gift of patience is just one reason people count on Marc as their agent. "They [clients] don't feel forced, rushed or pressured."

He lessens burdens facing military spouses by truly listening and providing what his clients want. He understands what it is like to have to hold down the fort and make life-altering decisions for the whole family. Such experience motivates this hardworking agent to find homes for buyers and get houses sold for sellers, even when the current housing market may not be in his favor.
This family man and his wife live with their daughter and two dogs in Virginia Beach. Alongside his family, Marc enjoys traveling, going to the beach, walking, riding bikes, going to local parks and eating out. This sports fan played many sports years ago and likes watching football, baseball, basketball and Olympic games when he has time. Marc can also be found cooking and grilling; steaks are his specialty.
