Kayla Pope has a genuine love for life that certainly carries over into her role as an agent. Originally from Michigan, she relocated to Norfolk with the Navy in 1996. She obtained her real estate license in 1999, and decided to pursue this career path after an honorable discharge in 2005. Since then, Pope has worked full-time and truly found her niche in the industry.

This agent's goal is never to simply sell a home, but to answer her clients' questions completely and give detailed explanations of either the buying or selling process. Pope's clients find her patient, understanding and thorough. She enjoys educating them in every aspect of home ownership and prides herself on practicing integrity and empathy with every individual.

Her areas of interest and expertise include first-time homebuyers, military relocation, listing homes and new construction. Her experience with the military gave her a firsthand understanding of the needs of individuals and families relocating in and out of Hampton Roads. Whatever circumstances a client may face, Pope is happy to accommodate.

When Pope isn't working with clients, she's most likely spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Craig, who is active duty for the U.S. Navy, love spoiling their six godchildren. They enjoy skating, bowling, traveling, shopping, going to amusement parks and playing Nintendo Wii. Its clear Pope has a big heart and generous spirit.  She hopes one day to own and operate a group of nationwide transitional homes for battered and abused women.
